Chicken here tasted like an authentic korean fried chicken I had in Seoul. Some of the spicy chickens are VERY spicy for normal people but they are addicting so get them if you dare! The owner and staff were friendly as well so I appreciated that. The only feedback I have is with the lighting in the restaurant. It needs to be darker given the neon signs and atmosphere it's associated with.
We catered our kid's birthday party from CM Chicken Norfolk and we were so impressed by the owner's customer service. All our guests raved about the wings and tenders, including a bunch of 3 and 4 year olds! Absolutely recommend getting your next event catered by CM Chicken. Next time, we'll have to try eating at the restaurant, which has a fantastic atmosphere
Not much on the inside. The chicken tenders in honey garlic were excellent. Steamed rice and pickled radish for sides. Definitely visit again when Norfolk.
Had the lunch special chicken sandwich (~$11). It is tasty and buttery, but light at the same time. The coleslaw isn’t overpowering and the fries are crisp. Very solid! Was greeted by the owner (?) who was very sweet.
service was amazing and the food was fresh and really good. the owner came out and interacted with us , such a sweet lady ! the restaurant is nice and clean & a nice vibe. I got the spring onion soy garlic chicken , rice & crab shumai. 10/10
The chicken was delicious... I had the honey garlic & my son had the Monster cheese. Both were crispy but juicy& tender. Our waiter was also awesome....he recommended the Peach Soju.
As someone who lived in Seoul for 4 years, this chicken is not only the closest I’ve ever gotten to real Korean style, it’s even better than some of the chicken I’ve had in Korea. They offer all the flavors you can usually find in Korea, and the snow onion chicken is the real deal. The portion sizes are very generous, and the owner is so kind and attentive. Definitely a must visit for Korean food in Norfolk!
I just don't know how this place isn't packed 24/7 with a line out the door! It was my first time here and I ordered the naked gochujang wings. So first of all, order from their website not anywhere else if you're going to do a pickup, because the website is cheaper. Second I get here to the store to pick up my wings and the owner is the most amazing lady! She told me to hold on and she brought me a breaded Wing to try since it was my first time there, and let me tell you it was so delicious! Their oil is fresh, they're chicken is delicious and it's perfectly seasoned! This is my new go to place in downtown Norfolk for wings, and I can't wait to try the other items on the menu! Trust me do yourself a favor and give them a try!
Great atmosphere it's on the strip downtown norfolk definitely a great place to eat food was made.to order super hot and delicious definitely recommend it and the spicy has great kick not to spicy for those who like a little bit of spice but it's great
First time eating Korean friend chicken and wow man. I always thought its just fried chicken how much better could it possibly be? THAT much better. Delicious food excellent service nice atmosphere. The dolsot Bibimbap with bulgogi was also phenomenal. Server talked me out of getting the tofu variety and getting the bulgogi instead. She was 100% right.
